The Man

The Legend

The Career

The Begining: 1998- It all started with the creation of the EGWF- Excessive Grudge Wrestling Federation, the company that captured the imaginations of wrestling fans and non-fans alike in Perry Ohio. The hardcore antics of User Friendly, quite possibly the greatest hardcore competitor of all time, The outrageous and controversial Mr. G, and the just plain crazy, as well as bizzare Corky. Not to mention the icon of pro wrestling, Extreme Superstar who's devout following of fans, or "Extremists" as he calls them, propelled the young star into cult hero status. His minions cheered on his triumphs as he did battle with the town's top forces of evil. Villians ran in fear, while fans ran in hysteria, making it evident that Extrememania was running wild! At the inaugural EGWF event in historic Washington D.C., the EGWF crew brought the capital city to it's knees, as Extreme and User Friendly basked in the eternal glory of tag team gold.

1999 And Beyond- The first EGWF supercard was held in the exotic locale of ..... Perry Ohio. Anyways, the event opened with the epic hardcore match which took place in the cold and bitter Ohio snow. While not a participant in the match, Extreme was right in the middle of the action as special guest referee. On this night, all the EGWF gold would be on the line to determine who would make history by being the first champion of yet to be decided titles, with the exception of the tag belts which were won at the previously noted D.C. showdown. This would all climax in a world title tournament to crown the man who'd lead the the promotion into the future. These were not the only reasons this was to be a night to remember, as many other interesting things took place that made this evening an important night in wrestling history as well as in Extreme's career. To put an end to a heated debate, Extreme's first match of the show was for the G.A.C. title (which was made specifically for this contest) against the 200+ pound monster known as "Pinky". In perhaps the most famous match in EGWF history, Extreme, who went in the underdog by being outweighed by over 100lbs, not only won the match, but did so in a record 12 seconds! Pinky, despite losing so quickly, left with a broken collarbone. As a result of his injury, the later match for the tag belts involving Pinky was forfeited, and the champs Extreme and User Friendly retained. Also, in another title match, Extreme's opponent for the Europeon title dropped out, allowing him to snag yet another title. But it wasn't over yet. Despite already holding 3 titles, Extreme racked up ANOTHER title by taking it all in the world title tournament, giving him an unpresidented 4 titles. At the pinacle of his success, Extreme rode the wave of Extrememania for over a year, until that fateful day he was forced into a memorable title for title hardcore ladder match against his partner User Friendly, who he had feuded with in the months leading up to this match, despite them still being tag champs. With Extreme's world title, and User's hardcore title both on the line, and hanging from a ladder, this was an important match for both men.  Potentially, Extreme could take home 5 titles in this match, or User could walk away world champ. In the end, Extreme had managed to grab his prized world title, while ignoring the "other" title, but as he did this, User came running to knock him off, sending both men, as well as the two belts to the ground. Dazed, Extreme reached for the title that landed closest to him, as did User. In an ironic twist of fate, they had managed to grab the other's prized title, leaving both men with a belt, but not what they walked in with. Extreme, feeling he was screwed over worse than Bret Hart in Montreal two years earlier, had been left dejected and upset in this latest wrestling screwjob, so he walked away from the EGWF. But there would be no heavy media blitz or TV specials to cover this horrific event, only the trail of tears left by a broken man as he walked into the darkness of exile. But being the man he is, Extreme bounced back, leaving any trace of that day behind to make a shocking return, wrestling for the TWF, and the rest was history. The TWF would be a smashing sucess, but eventually fold, and Extreme Superstar stunned the world by returning to the EGWF, even being the first inducted into the EGWF Hall of Fame.
