Look Who's Back...
Hello all! I have finally found some time to write up another entry in the ol' blog. On the writing front, I have devoted more efforts to a story I am writing, which will be used as the template to make a screenplay. Sadly, my writing on the SWF has suffered, and I really seem to have lost interest. I don't feel confident enough in the work to contunue with it, so all further plans to do so have been scrapped. Starface however, while still in it's early stages, will be done, eventually. If I am in my senior year of college, or even married by then remains to be seen. This story though, is really shaping up. I'm learning more of my talents as a writer, and having fun. At first I felt it was better served as a screenplay, but opted to make a story first, then do the screenplay, hopefully giving more to work with. While it seems on the surface that my story has been done many times before, I think I add a little more depth to it. Without giving it away, the ending is what I am most satisfied with, but am unsure how it will come across in the story form. From what I came up with, a screenplay better explains it, but hey I'm up to the challenge. I just hope there's a way to have it come across the way I envision it. I sure as heck don't want to change the end for the story version, as the idea of the outcome is what actually inspired me to go through with the story, and is the only way I ever wanted to end it with.
