Extreme Returns!
Oh yes, since my last update on the main site, being before Christmas, Extreme Superstar, EGWF Hall of Famer, has signed a new contract with the EGWF. Check out the EGWF site here for more information. While I haven't fully worked out the details of my wrestling schedule, I have come to terms with EGWF Owner, User Friendly, to pen a column for the official website, which should be starting soon. Also, as you may have heard, the EGWF is compiling a 3 volume collection of it's finest moments, titled EGWF Greatest Hits. volume 1 is to cover the greatest matches, volume 2 will cover the best skits and promos, and volume 3 will be an overall history of the promotion. Info on this can also be seen on the EGWF site linked above. This is certainly exciting news, and more exciting for me personally is that I have been asked to host the series. Details are still be ironed out, as the EGWF vault is opened up, and sifted through to make sure the collection contains only the best material.

In other news, I have an update concerning the TWF, my old company that I started upon leaving the EGWF. I'm not entirely sure where this will lead, but just yesterday, I tried contacting TWF co-owner, Shasta McNasty, whom I haven't spoken with in a good 2 or 3 years. He has yet to reply, but if he does, who knows where that will lead, concerning a possible TWF reunion, even just for one night. It has been a longtime hope of mine to give the TWF proper closure by doing one last show, even though most of the talent has moved on, since just having myself, Shasta, and hopefully hardcore legend Dusty Streets involved would suffice for a fantastic show. As TWF fans will remember, the final show ended with a cliffhanger of sorts, as my TWF persona, Mo Styles seemed to have left the company, only to shock the world by coming out as Extreme Superstar, in what looked to be a gap-filling of the TWF & EGWF. If I could ever find enough talents, I have thought about creating a NEW kind of TWF, with fun characters, compelling stories, and intense action, like the 80's WWF. The new company would probably undergo a name change, giving birth to an entirely new promotion. It's all just a blueprint for now, but, it could get off the ground instantly with a few talents, as federation, and possible event names, etc., are already established. Extreme would likely carry over to the company, but new alter egos, maybe even some old ones might remain. The plan would see a somewhat limited set of titles, being the World, Tag, United States (in place of an IC title), a Television title, and a new version of an X title, combining the elements of crusierweight, and hardcore styles, depending on the champion. The proposed names of this company are Superstar Championship Wrestling, or Next Generation Wrestling, my personal favorite. Every event would have a new name to reflect story lines or something, with no set regular shows, barring a few annual ones. The company I wouldn't say would be totally "clean", but the focus would be on more serious stories, like the old WWF, with a bit of newer attitude era stuff. It's all up in the air for now, so I wouldn't be too excited, it's just something I've been thinking about recently.
